Information for returning to school in January 2022

Dear Parents and Carers,

The government has asked all secondary schools to facilitate one on-site LFD (Lateral Flow Device) test for pupils when they return in January.

In order to give families as much notice as possible there is a return to school guide which should be read in conjunction with this letter.

If you consent for your child/children to be tested please complete the consent form and return it to school via Edulink no later than 3pm, Friday 10th December. Please note that a consent form is required for each individual pupil.

If you do not consent for your child to be tested, please do not return a form.

Upcoming dates for the diary

Friday 17th December: 12 Noon. School closes for Christmas holidays

 Foundation Governor Vacancy

The Governing Body currently has a vacancies for Foundation Governor.

Foundation Governors play an important part in maintaining and developing the Catholic character of schools.

No special qualifications are needed and the most important thing is to have a keen interest in the school and be prepared to play an active part in the governing body’s work.

Any practicing Catholic over the age of 18 can become a Foundation Governor. As part of the self-nomination process, you will need to give the contact details of your parish priest who can verify this.
