At St Bede’s Catholic High School, we recognise the significant value that educational visits bring to a young person’s learning and personal development. Whether through day visits or longer residential experiences, these opportunities help to deepen curriculum understanding, build confidence, and foster wider cultural, social and spiritual growth.
We are also mindful that the financial commitment involved in such experiences can place pressure on families. With this in mind, we are sharing a provisional overview of proposed educational visits scheduled for the next two academic years. This includes a broad range of opportunities across year groups and subject areas, along with indicative costings and likely times of year, to help families plan ahead and make informed decisions.
Some larger residential experiences operate on a biennial cycle to ensure that families have sufficient time to budget and prepare. In addition, many of our educational visits are designed to be cross-curricular, offering pupils the benefit of learning across multiple subject areas within one visit – providing even greater educational value.
We hope that by offering this information in advance, we are supporting our mission to work in partnership with parents and guardians in providing enriching, inclusive and well-planned experiences for all pupils.
We provide a diverse range of visits for both educational value and enrichment of our pupils. Please click on the link below to see our proposed trip list for 2025-2027:
