Headteacher’s Update – February 2026

I hope you will enjoy our latest newsletter. As you will read, this has been another busy and successful half term.

I, along with Mrs Donlon and a small group of pupils, were privileged to attend the opening liturgy at St Mary’s Church in Burnley where the Diocese of Salford received and hosted the Relics of Saint Carlo Acutis. Our pupils were a true credit to their families and to the school as they reflected thoughtfully on the life and witness of St Carlo.

As our Year 11 pupils approach an extremely important time in their education, I would like to thank both the staff for delivering and the pupils for attending, the numerous revision sessions that have been taking place each afternoon after school.

 Thank you as always for your ongoing support and I hope everyone in a school community has a restful half term.
